You’ve got to be mad to be a writer, don’t you? When not being seduced by a gorgeous day or 1000 other distractions, your sweet derrière will be glued to the seat as you write truly madly deeply… short stories, a novel, and not necessarily in that order – diving from one genre to the other, often dunking all 14 toes, sometimes swimming vigorously, though often against the tide, or god forbid, getting caught in a rip… but always, always looking for that perfect wave that will glide you home, that fleeting sense of reprieve.  Yes, you have to be mad to be a writer. But you have no choice. It is in your blood.

So, welcome. Here you will find posts about writing, my own and others. Thank you for dropping by ~ Julie.
